Mike Leake

As feared, Dan Haren has been traded to an American League team, the Los Angeles Angels, and will no longer be able to hit.  Haren passes the torch to Cincinnati Reds rookie, Mike Leake.
Leake is off to a fine start with seven wins and two losses.  His earned  run average is 3.57, which is lower than his .366 batting average,  Leake has had three hits in a game once and two hits in a game on three other occasions.  Leake played baseball for Arizona State and was picked in the first round, last year, by the Cincinnati Reds.  Fortunately he was drafted by a National League team.  Leake has never played a game in the minor leagues.
